Young returns to winning ways in Ohio

Darin Young tasted success on Sunday evening in Ohio in event no.4 of the Championship Darts Circuit’s Main Event Tour. For the USA World Cup hopeful it was a fantastic run of victories as he remained highly consistent over the course of the event.

Young enjoyed a 6-3 victory in the final over Chuck Puleo who had a fantastic tournament himself as he recorded the highest average in Championship Darts Circuit history in his 5-0 victory over Nick Linberg in the last 16 as he averaged 104.4.

But, for the no.2 seed Young he was on-song from start to finish as he seen off the likes of Kirk Barnes (5-0), Bill Anderson (5-0), Jim Long (5-2), David Fatum (6-3) & Ross Snook (6-4) before that assuring 6-3 success over an on-song Chuck Puleo.

It was a very successful weekend for the Championship Darts Circuit in the Evolution Tour events, as well as the first two Junior Tour events, and of course wins for Leonard Gates and Darin Young on the Main Tour.
