Jarred Cole continues his red-hot run of form in the Junior Darts Corporation’s Modus UK Tour as he was victorious in event six over in Coventry. It has been some year for the Hertfordshire-based youngster as he recently joined darts manufacturers Target and also he joined Modus darts management who manage the likes of Michael van Gerwen, Simon Whitlock and many more.
Cole has reached the final in all five events that he has attended, winning three of them. But, It wasn’t all plain-sailing in Saturday’s final against Keelan Kay who has won an event himself, Kay cruised into a 3-0 lead and looking likely to win again on the UK Tour, but Cole rallied to some tune as he forced a deciding leg pulling the scoreline back to 4-4. Cole showed great character and tesolve to win that crucial decider. As you’d expect with his success, the Hatfield-ace tops the JDC UK tour order of merit and earns himself a JDC scholarship in 2018 which includes all entries in the PDC Unicorn Development Tour.
