Glen Durrant moved into the Semi-Finals at the International Darts Open in Reisa, Germany on Sunday evening as the Teessider enjoyed a hard-fought 6-4 win over two-time major winner Daryl Gurney.

It was an impressive display from the three-time World champion, with a 120 checkout proving to be crucial in the end. In the final four, Durrant faces Gerwyn Price later in Sunday’s evening session, and the pair always seem to bring the best out of one another.

Just seven days ago, Durrant averaged over 110 in a victory over Price in the last 16 in Mannheim.

“I’m delighted”, said Durrant after the win. “It’s my first Semi-Final on the Euro Tour, so now Reisa’s my favourite place in Europe.”

Durrant added: “I think tonight, I’m here to win it. I’m just loving everything in the PDC, the Quarter-Finals are nice, the Semi-Finals are nice, but I just want to add a European win on top of my two Pro Tour wins. I feel fantastic.”
