Neil Warnock’s Cardiff City were held to a 1-1 draw at home to 10-man Fulham in a ‘frustrating’ evening at the Cardiff City Stadium.
It was a return to Cardiff to forget for Harry Arter as the midfielder was sent off as 10-man Fulham held on for a draw in Wales.
Josh Murphy fired Cardiff into the lead, but Aleksandar Mitrovic levelled things up just three minutes later, right on the stroke of half-time.
Arter saw red for a second-bookable offence as he was booked twice in the space of two minutes in the second half. Following Arter’s dismissal, Fulham were forced to dig in for a draw, prior to the sending off, the visitors enjoyed a healthy spell of possession (75%).
Following the draw, Scott parkers side climb up to fourth position in the Sky Bet Championship table, whilst Cardiff move up to 10th position.
